PURPOSE: An articulating brace is provided to enable a user to fix the articulating brace by engaging a fixed gear with top gear and a bottom gear when pressure is applied to the sole of the foot. CONSTITUTION: A top link(110) rotates around the upper shaft of a link base and includes a top gear. A bottom link(120) includes a bottom gear corresponding to the top gear and rotates around a lower shaft in a position in which the top gear and the bottom gear are engaged. A fixed gear(130) rotates with the top gear and is engaged between the top gear and the bottom gear to control the angles of the top link and the bottom link. A connection link(133) connects the rotation central axis to the upper shaft. A controller(150) is connected to the fixed gear to be engaged between the top gear and the bottom gear.본 발명은 관절보조장치에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 의하면 판형상의 링크베이스(105)； 상기 링크베이스(105)에 상단축(S)을 중심으로 회동가능하도록 구비되고, 상단기어(113)가 구비되며, 고정을 위한 상단고정장치(117)가 구비되는 상단링크(110)； 상기 상단기어(113)와 대응되는 하단기어(123)가 구비되고, 하단축(S')을 중심으로 회동가능하도록 구비되고, 고정을 위한 하단고정장치(127)가 구비되는 하단링크(120)； 상기 상단축(S)을 중심으로 회동가능하도록 연결링크(133)에 의해 연결되어 상기 상단기어(113)와 하단기어(123)의 사이에 맞물려 상기 상단링크(110) 및 하단링크(120)의 각도를 제어하는 고정기어(130) 및； 상기 고정기어(130)에 연결되어 상기 고정기어(130)가 상기 상단기어(113) 및 하단기어(123)의 사이에 맞물리도록 제어하는 제어기(150)를 포함하여 구성되된다.이와 같은 구성을 가지는 본 발명에 의하면, 발바닥에 의해 전달되는 압축력에 의해 제어기(150)가 고정기어(130)를 가동시켜 적절한 각도에서 관절보조장치(100)를 고정시킬 수 있어, 무릎에 가해지는 부하를 적절하게 조절할 수 있어 관절보조장치의 효과를 높일 수 있는 장점이 있다.
