PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suction catheter capable of reliably sucking in an object to be sucked in.SOLUTION: A suction catheter 1 includes a coiled spring 8 that is formed by spirally winding a wire 7, and a pipe 9 to which a base end of the coiled spring 8 is fixed. In the suction catheter 1, the coiled spring 8 comprises a coarsely wound part 8a in which a clearance is formed between the adjacent wires 7.
