PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that though there is disclosed a technology which opens and closes a footrest of a wheelchair by a remote operation, or facilitates the landing of the footrest and the getting-on/off of a patient by using a link mechanism, hydraulic pressure or the like, the technology is not widely diffused since the landing of the footrest is unclean for the patient, and it is indispensable for the patient to be assisted in the ascending and descending of both legs because the patient must bend his/her body when ascending and descending both the legs, also the link mechanism is complicated in structure and operation, and high in expense, and thus the distress of the patient and a caregiver is not improved.SOLUTION: Two front wheels of a wheelchair are reduced in speed by using a pair of male and female screws, or combining the screws to a pair of gears and timing pulleys, and the two front wheels are made ascendable and descendable by being rotated forward or backward by an electric motor or manually. The whole wheelchair is inclined forward and a footrest is landed when the front wheels ascend, and the wheelchair can be recovered to a normal posture before the forward inclination when the front wheels descend. Opening/closing of the footrest and ascending/descending of both legs become unnecessary while a patient leaves his/her both legs placed on the footrest, and getting-on/off the patient becomes safe and speedy.【課題】車椅子のフットレストは遠隔操作にて開閉し、或いはリンク機構や油圧等を用いて着床し患者の乗降を容易にする技術が開示されているが、前者は不潔で身体を屈めて両足の上げ下げの介助が欠かせず、後者は構造や操作が複雑で高価でもあるため一般にはなかなか普及せず、患者や介護者の苦痛は一向に改善されていない。【解決手段】車椅子の前二車輪を雌雄一対のネジを用い、又は前記ネジを一対の歯車やタイミングプーリ等と組み合わせ減速し、電動機又は手動によって正転又は逆転して前記前二車輪を上昇又は下降可能とし、上昇時には車椅子全体が前傾してフットレストが着床し、下降時には前傾前の正常姿勢に復帰可能とし、両足をフットレストに乗せたままで、フットレストの開閉も両足の上げ下ろしも不要で、患者の乗降を安全にして容易且つスピーディにする。【選択図】図2
