PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tooth powder composition which is excellent in a cleaning force to the contamination of a tooth face, can sufficiently obtain the natural feeling of polish cleaning to the tooth face, has no incongruity caused by rough deposits of particles at brushing, favorable in the easiness of push-out from a vessel when pasted on a tooth brush, and is excellent in the stability of the liquid separation of chemicals with age.SOLUTION: The tooth powder composition is composed of (A) synthetic layered sodium silicate magnesium, (B) granules whose average particle diameter is 50 to 400 &mum, and average collapse rigidity is 10 to 200g/piece, (C) abrasive silica and (D) an anionic adhesive.
