PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal light in which: the front side of a light housing is easily opened and closed during maintenance; no probability exits for cost increase; light from a light source can be easily viewed from an original viewing direction even under the condition that the front side of the light housing is opened; and no probability exists for the disruption of traffic conditions.SOLUTION: A light housing 11 comprises: a case-like body 12 fixed to an installation place; and a cover body 13 provided on the front side of the body 12 in an openable and closable manner and whose front face side is provided with front covers 16 transmitting light from LED units 20 forward. The LED units 20 are disposed inside the body 12 so that light from the LED units 20 can be emitted forward even when the cover body 13 is opened.
