PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spinning reel for fishing that can miniaturize and reduce the weight of a guide and an arm part of a rotor while securing strength of the guide.SOLUTION: An inversion mechanism 40 of a spinning reel 1 for fishing according to the present invention includes: a shaft 41 with one end connected to a bail supporting member 13A a guide 50 swingably attached to an arm part 3A, and slidably supporting the shaft 41 in an axial direction and a returning abutment member 61 swingably provided to the arm part 3A, coming into abutment with the guide 50 by the rotation in the line rolling up direction of a rotor 3, and making the bail supporting member 13A in a fishing line discharge position return to a line rolling up position.
