PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve imaging performance and reduce a risk to a patient in an operational feature and an improvement in manufacturing of an endoscope system.SOLUTION: There is provided a system carried by a cart or a person, and a method for performing endoscope treatment. A portable display device like a laptop personal computer is connected to a handle 32 equipped with an ultracompact camera and an optical fiber illumination sub-system. A sterile disposable part is attached to the illumination sub-system and inserted into a target region of a patient.
