PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonwoven fabric that has excellent liquid permeability and absorption properties for highly viscous liquid, can reduce return of the liquid, and has soft feeling, and to provide a product obtained by using the same.SOLUTION: A nonwoven fabric obtained by using a thermal adhesive fiber comprises nonthermal adhesive regions in which points of intersection of fibers are not thermally adhered and thermal adhesive regions in which points of intersection of fibers are thermally adhered, where the nonthermal adhesive regions and the thermal adhesive regions are alternately present on the surface the nonwoven fabric. The nonthermal adhesive regions are dispersively present in a spot pattern or continuously or intermittently present in a linear form.
