Disposable absorbent articles include a topsheet； a backsheet； an absorbent core between the topsheet and the backsheet； and a layer between the absorbent core and the topsheet. The topsheet has a generally planar first surface having a plurality of out of plane features and a first color. The layer has a second color. And the plurality of out of plane features have a feature color different than the first color and the second color.
