The present invention relates to a connector for a switchgear. Since a first member combined with a motor shaft is separate from a second member combined with a pipe shaft, on which vinyl or felt is wound, and the second member is able to be freely rotated around the first member if a first member fixing bolt is separated from the second member, and thus, the connector is capable of safely lowering the vinyl or felt to the ground without damage to the motor shaft or pipe shaft in an urgent situation such as the malfunction of a switchgear. In other words, to form the connector used by inserting a first member, which includes a motor shaft combination hole having a predetermined depth, into a second member, which includes a pipe shaft combination hole for combining a pipe shaft with vinyl or felt wound thereon, the first member includes: a support ring-shaped step protruding from the opposite side of the motor shaft combination hole and matched with the diameter of the pipe shaft； and a stopper groove formed near the support ring-shaped step. The pipe shaft combination hole penetrating the second member includes a first member combination hole matched with the diameter of the first member and having a width to receive the stopper groove formed in the first member.
