PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stylet achieving high rigidity along with diameter reduction, while enabling adjustment for high flexibility.SOLUTION: A stylet 1 includes: a plurality of pipes 2 each having a through-hole an operation wire 4 penetratingly inserted through the through-holes of the plurality of pipes 2 and coil springs as resilient members disposed at the ends of the pipes 2 and capable of elastically separating the adjacent pipes 2 from one another. Each pipe 2 has fitting parts to be fitted to adjacent pipes. The fitting part has a fitting protrusion at one end side of the pipe 2 and a fitting hole at the other end side. The fitting part is configured to fit the pipes 2 to each other, with the coil spring interposed therebetween by a pulling operation of the operation wire 4.
