Cutting bar characterized in that the upper wall (3 ') has, at its front edge region, a recess, in that the bottom wall (3) and the top wall (3') are both parts stamped and in that the bottom wall (3) and the top wall (3 ') have recesses which cooperatively form the front edge area of the housing (2), said recesses coinciding respectively with the overcut areas and conferring on said edge area before an indented form.
