PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently proliferating a plant belonging to the genus Imperata such as cogon and a method for re-differentiating the same.SOLUTION: This method for proliferating the plant belonging to the genus Imperata is characterized by comprising a proliferation process of proliferating a multiple shoot callus of the plant belonging to the genus Imperata in a medium added with a combination of 2,4-D and BAP.
