The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition for lightening or dyeing keratin fibres, in particular human keratin fibres such as the hair, comprising (a) one or more organic alkaline agents with a molecular weight of less than or equal to 300 g.mol-1, (b) one or more mineral alkaline agents, (c) one or more organic or mineral acids, (d) one or more fatty substances and (e) one or more oxidizing agents the pH of the composition being greater than or equal to 7.
