PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exercise assist device allowing a measuring object person to easily recognize that he/she performs exercise in an optimal attitude suited to the exercise.SOLUTION: The exercise assist device detects an exercise posture of a user on the basis of at least a tip position of a users foot separated from a floor, and determines whether or not the exercise continues for a prescribed time or more, in such a posture that the height of the tip position of the foot separated from the floor reaches a target height or more and, in the exercise, whether or not a users posture is a one-leg-standing exercise posture in which an axial direction of a leg part below the knee in the side of the foot separated from the floor matches a direction of a vertical line along the axial line of the other leg and an angle formed between the axial line of the femoral area of the leg of the foot separated from the floor and the vertical line is a prescribed angle or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
