PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exercise assistance device easy to attach/detach, having less unpleasantness without any problem on outer appearance, and capable of performing exercise support in a wide range from seating to walking.SOLUTION: A power assist suit 100 is not affected by a body width direction size owing to being so formed that a foot part and a waist part are only fastened to the body of a user, and an interval between the foot and the waist of the user is connected through rods 110R and 110L arranged inside both the legs, and including direct drive parts 120R and 120L. The rods 110R and 110L are simple harnesses configured so as to transmit only a force upward in one direction to the pelvis of the user, and are connected to the waist of the user.
