The present disclosure relates to pharmaceutical compositions including an aromatic-cationic peptide such as D-Arg-2,6-Dmt-Lys-Phe-NH2. In some embodiments, compositions described herein include a suspension, which comprises an admixture in solid form of a therapeutically effective amount of one or more aromaticcationic peptides such as D-Arg-2,6-Dmt-Lys-Phe-NH2 or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, and optionally a therapeutically effective amount of one or more aromatic-cationic peptides. Pharmaceutical compositions have enhanced penetration across biological barriers. The present technology also relates to methods of treating or preventing diseases by administering such penetrating compositions to affected subjects.La présente invention concerne des compositions pharmaceutiques comprenant un peptide cationique aromatique tel que D-Arg-2,6-Dmt-Lys-Phe-NH2.
