The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition comprising an antimalarial agent selected from the group consisting of artemether, arteether, artemisinin, dihydroartemisinin and artesunate； sulfamethoxypyrazine； and a dihydrofolate reductase inhibitor and further comprising one or more pharmaceutical acceptable excipients, carriers and/or diluents suitable for providing treatment of malaria in a period of one day.
