PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation section of a treatment tool for an endoscope which has a simple structure for holding a direction around the axial direction of a distal end treating member relative to a flexible sheath independently of stroke operation.
SOLUTION: Rotation coupling sections 16, 17 coupling the proximal end section (17) of the flexible sheath 1 rotatably around the axial direction are arranged at a distal end section of the operation section body 11 and a click mechanism 30 (31, 32, 33) resiliently locking the proximal end section (17) of the flexible sheath 1 to the operation section body 11 at a predetermined rotation interval is arranged at the rotation coupling sections 16, 17.
