An electric mower with a supporting type tool bit which comprises a support disposed on the end of an operating rod and provided with an upwards-opened cavity, a driving motor is installed in the cavity, a cap cover for covering the driving motor is connected to a port of the cavity, an output shaft of the driving motor downwardly extends out of a bottom wall of the support to be fixed to a blade sleeve that is mounted with a blade, and the blade is tightly pressed via a fastening nut at the terminal of the output shaft. Such a mower is simple, low in cost and secure.
