The present invention relates to a medical tool and a production method thereof. More specifically, the present invention relates to a medical tool having excellent corrosion resistance and abrasion resistance, comprising: a medical tool base material made of stainless steel； an oxidized thin film coating layer formed on a surface of the medical tool base material； and at least one ceramic coating layer coated on the oxidized thin film coating layer. The present invention further relates to a production method thereof. According to the present invention, the medical tool and the production method thereof enable production of medical tools with improved attachability, excellent corrosion resistance and abrasion resistance via a relatively simple method to stacking a thin film on top of the medical tool base material.
