To enhance the speediness and accuracy of a teeth preparation process for the prosthesis, the present invention provides a method for controlling a teeth preparation automatic device which comprises a 3D processing unit for cutting and processing a preset preparation target unit through a 3D movement of a processing tool, comprising: a first step which acquires a target tooth image corresponding to the preparation target unit through any one among a CT scan and an oral scan for the inside of the mouth of a subject； a second step in which a virtual preparation model corresponding to the target tooth image is extracted from a digital preparation model library and is virtually placed, and an area coordinate from the outer surface of the virtual preparation model to the outer surface of the target tooth image is set as preparation data； and a third step which controls the processing tool to three-dimensionally move according to the preparation data.보철을 위한 치아 프렙 과정의 신속성 및 정확성이 개선되도록, 본 발명은 가공툴의 3차원 이동을 통해 기설정된 프렙대상부를 절삭 가공하는 3차원가공부를 포함하는 치아 프렙 자동화 장치의 제어방법에 있어서, 대상자의 구강 내부에 대한 CT 촬영 및 오랄스캔 중 적어도 어느 하나를 통해 상기 프렙대상부에 대응되는 대상치아이미지가 획득되는 제1단계； 디지털 프렙모델 라이브러리로부터 상기 대상치아이미지에 대응되는 가상프렙모델이 추출 및 가상 배치되되, 상기 가상프렙모델의 외면으로부터 상기 대상치아이미지의 외면까지의 영역좌표가 프렙데이터로 설정되는 제2단계； 및 상기 프렙데이터에 따라 상기 가공툴의 3차원 이동이 제어되는 제3단계를 포함하는 치아 프렙 자동화 장치의 제어방법을 제공한다.
