PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high value-added material made from an active ingredient extracted from seaweed as a raw material and a production method thereof.SOLUTION: According to the present invention, there is provided a porous material that comprises fucoidan and fucoxanthin. Preferably, the porous material is an aerogel.
