<；P>；PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a live rock forming structure which is easy to handle when a live rock is artificially produced, and to provide a live rock producing facility, and live rock setting method. <；P>；SOLUTION: The live rock forming structure 1 includes an organism settling layer 2 on which organisms are settled, and a hollow container 3 secured in the organism settling layer 2. The live rock forming structure 1 is held under the sea over a predetermined period, and therefore bacteria, calcareous algae, etc. are settled on the organism settling layer 2 during the predetermined period, to thereby complete formation of an artificial live rock. Then the completed live rock is towed to an installation target sea area, and plugs 6 are detached from the structure at an installation target location, whereby seawater flows in the hollow container 3. Thus the hollow container 3 loses its buoyancy, and therefore the live rock sinks in the sea to be set on a sea bottom in the installation target sea area. <；P>；COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
