The disclosure herein provides compact portable head supporting devices that secure a users head in a position sufficient to enhance the users comfort in a seated position. The head supporting device comprises a first member configured to be at least partially sandwiched between a user and a seat and a support apparatus coupled to the first member and configured to secure a head of the user relative to the first member.
