PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component for an intraocular lens insertion instrument to insert an intraocular lens into an eye, which conforms to Attached Table 325 Basic Requirement Compatibility Checklist (Single-Use Intraocular Lens Insertion Criteria) for Medical Equipment (2005 Notice 112 by the Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare) provided and specified by the Minister of Health, Labour, and Welfare, and is made of a resin material with an excellent balance among rigidity, impact resistance, and resin fluidity.SOLUTION: There is provided a component for an intraocular lens insertion instrument made of a propylene-based resin material which is a propylene-based copolymer with a 0.1 to 20 wt.% content of comonomer selected from propylene homopolymer or ethylene and α-olefin having 4 to 20 carbon atoms, and which has a weight average molecular weight (Mw) of 100,000 to 500,000, a tensile modulus of 700 to 2,300 MPa, and a melting peak temperature (Tm) of 110 to 170°C.COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT【課題】眼内に眼内レンズを挿入するための眼内レンズ挿入器具用の部材であって、厚生労働大臣が基準を定めて指定する医療機器(平成17年厚生労働省告示第112号)別表の325基本要件適合性チェックリスト(単回使用眼内レンズ挿入器基準)に適合し、剛性と耐衝撃性と樹脂流動性のバランスに優れた樹脂材料からなる眼内レンズ挿入器具用部材を提供する。【解決手段】プロピレン単独重合体もしくはエチレン及び炭素数4~20のα-オレフィンから選ばれるコモノマーの含有量が0.1~20重量%であるプロピレン系共重合体であって、重量平均分子量(Mw)が10万~50万、引張弾性率が700~2300MPa、融解ピーク温度(Tm)が110~170℃であるプロピレン系樹脂材料からなることを特徴とする眼内レンズ挿入器具用部材。【選択図】なし
