It is an object of the present invention to solve problems regarding flexibility of and deodorizing measures for conventional label-type oxygen absorbing agents and to provide a label-type oxygen absorbing agent suitable for automatic pasting and packaging. This invention is characterized in that a sheet-shaped oxygen absorbing member made of an oxygen absorbing resin layer, which is made by dispersing an oxygen absorbing composition in a thermoplastic resin, has a groove cut from at least one surface thereof toward the opposite surface thereof. This invention is also characterized in that the sheet-shaped oxygen absorbing member with a deodorizing layer adhesively attached to the oxygen absorbing resin layer has air holes pierced through an adhesive layer in contact with the oxygen absorbing resin layer.
