The present invention relates to a method for generating antibody-payload conjugates by means of microbial transglutaminase (MTG). The method comprises the step of conjugating a linker having a primary amine residue, wherein the linker is a peptide structure (shown in the N->； C direction) for the Gln residue contained in the heavy or light chain of the antibody (Aax) m -(Aax) (NH 2 )-(Aax) n -B- (Aax) o, or (Aax) m -B- (Aax) n- (Aax) (NH 2 )-(Aax) o .
