PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus, a coil assembly, and an installation method for a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus which are capable of reducing the time for their installation.SOLUTION: The magnetic resonance imaging apparatus includes a static magnetic field magnet 1, a gradient magnetic field coil 2, a high-frequency coil 4, and a support member 17. The static magnetic field magnet 1 is formed in a substantially cylindrical shape. The gradient magnetic field coil 2 is disposed inside the static magnetic field magnet 1. The high-frequency coil 4 is disposed inside the gradient magnetic field coil 2.
