PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an animal information collection system, assisting search for an animal while holding down power consumption.SOLUTION: A cordless handset 2 includes a battery 21, a communicating part 22, an activity amount measuring part 23, an activity amount integrating part 24, a position obtaining part 25 and a control part 26. The battery 21 is a power supply of the cordless handset 2, and the communicating part 22 performs wireless communication with a main phone 1. The activity amount measuring part 23 measures the activity amount of the animal to which a relevant machine is mounted. The activity amount integrating part 24 integrates the activity amount measured by the activity amount measuring part 23. The position obtaining part 25 obtains the position information of the relevant machine. The control part 26 causes the communicating part 22 to transmit the position information.
