PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article excellent in fitness, followability to the movement of a wearer, a leakage preventing property and a wearing feeling.
SOLUTION: The absorbent article 1 is provided with a liquid permeable surface sheet 2, a back surface sheet 3 and a vertically long absorbent body 4 interposed between both sheets. The absorbent body 4 is composed by piling up an extensible absorption sheet 41 and a non-extensible absorption sheet 42, and the extensible absorption sheet 41 forms both side parts of the longitudinal direction center part of the absorbent body 4. Also, the non-extensible absorption sheet 42 is formed in an I shape from a front end part 44, a rear end part 45 and a center connection part 46 connecting them, and the extensible absorption sheet is connected to the center connection part 46 of the non-extensible absorption sheet 42 at the width direction center part.
