PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detergent composition having excellent foam performance, excellent in smooth feeling of hair when used as a hair washing agent or in voluminous feeling or the like of hair after washing.SOLUTION: In this detergent composition containing following components (A) and (B) with the mass ratio ((B)/(A)) of the component (B) to the component (A) of 0.10-0.30, the component (A) is constituted of two or more kinds of N-acyl aspartic acids having each different carbon number and/or salts thereof, and the component (B) is constituted of at least one higher fatty acid represented by general formula (2) (In the formula, R2 represents a 7-23C alkyl group.
