PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dental unit capable of reducing the risk of aspiration while ensuring easiness of treatment, in operation inside an oral cavity.SOLUTION: A dental unit includes a dental chair (10) and deformation control means for controlling deformation of a posture of the dental chair. The dental chair comprises: a seat part (11) provided vertically movably and turnably； a back rest (12) which tiltably and erectably turns with respect to the seat part； a head rest (13) provided movably and/or turnably with respect to the back rest； a leg rest (14) provided turnably with respect to the seat part； and a foot rest (15) provided turnably with respect to the leg rest. The deformation control means instructs the dental chair to move or turn to deform the dental chair in at least one of a first aspiration protection posture and second aspiration protection posture.
