También cuenta con la particularidad de proteger el catéter, ya que tiene un orificio para que pueda salir de la faja previniendo que este se doble o se jale hacia abajo por el peso del líquido de la diálisis, así mismo cuenta con un compartimiento donde dicho catéter puede ser colocado protegiendo al mismo tiempo de la exposición al medio ambiente y de la transpiración del paciente, de este modo se asegura que no se presenten infecciones que pueden dañar la integridad de quien lo porta.
