PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for oral ingestion which contains a component particularly having unpleasant flavor such as zedoary, and in which the unpleasant flavor is suppressed.SOLUTION: The covered granulated matter (F) includes: a granulated matter (C) which contains an unpleasant taste component and a flavoring component and a layer covering the granulated matter (C), which contains a substance showing low water solubility at ordinary temperature. The flavor of the unpleasant taste component upon oral ingestion can be sufficiently suppressed. The covered granulated matter (F) can be further formulated into granules (G) which have quick solubility.
