Die Vorrichtung umfasst ein längliches Gehäuse (3) mit einem abgabeseitigen vorderen Gehäuseende (6) und einem diesem gegenüberliegenden hinteren Gehäuseende (7). In dem Gehäuse (3) ist im Bereich des vorderen Gehäuseendes (6) eine erste Kammer (1) mit einem darin enthaltenen Lyophilisat angeordnet, die an ihrem, dem vorderen Gehäuseende (6) zugewandten Ende mit einem abnehmbaren Verschluss (9) und in Richtung des hinteren Gehäuseendes (7) mit einem Kolben (11) dicht verschlossen ist. In dem Gehäuse (3) ist im Bereich des hinteren Gehäuseendes (7) eine zweite Kammer (2) ausgebildet oder angeordnet, die über mindestens eine Öffnung (13) mit der umgebenden Atmosphäre verbunden ist.
