PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switch type bell which can be switched between a warning sound generation state and a warning sound stop state and can generate a warning sound even in a state where force in the lateral direction is difficult to be applied at the time of jogging or the like.SOLUTION: A switch type bell 1 includes a non-magnetic hollow sphere 2 inside of which is formed into a hollow shape, a ball 3 which is stored inside the hollow sphere, a holding member 5 which advances/retreats in a cylindrical member 4 provided adjacently to the hollow sphere, and switch means 9 which holds the holding member at the advanced position and the retreat position. The ball and the holding member are configured to be attracted to each other with magnetic force. In the warning sound stop state, the holding member is positioned at the advanced position, the holding member and the ball are attracted to each other with the magnetic force, and the movement of the ball inside the hollow sphere is inhibited (a).
