PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous skin cosmetic having excellent antiseptic properties and low skin irritation.SOLUTION: An aqueous skin cosmetic has following components: (A) (A1) methyl paraben and/or ethyl paraben or (A2) phenoxy ethanol, (B) polyethylene glycol with a number average molecular weight of 3000-30000, (C) at least one nonionic surfactant selected from polyoxyethylene sorbitan fatty acid ester, polyoxyethylene hardened castor oil and polyoxyethylene alkyl ether, (D) at least one diol selected from dipropylene glycol, 1,3-butylene glycol and 1,3-propanediol, and (E) water.
