The dental mirror auger (10) comprises a hollow base (12) having an outer surface (16), an inner surface, a longitudinal axis and a suction port (20). The inner surface comprises a visible mirror (22) observed through the suction port. The base has two base portions (32,34) firmly connected together through connecting surfaces.
