The present invention provides a skin-improving composition including a material, as an active material, for inhibiting expression of at least one from cadherin 11 and N-cadherin, and a skin-improving kit including the same. According to the present invention, cutaneous hyperpigmentation can be alleviated； a skin whitening effect can be provided； and an excellent anti-aging effect can be provided as the skin-improving composition can prevent or alleviate generation of wrinkles. The present invention provides a system for screening a skin-improving material including a co-culture product of at least two from fibroblast, keratinocyte and melanocyte, and a method for screening a skin improving material. The method includes the steps of: treating the co-culture product of the system for screening a skin-improving material with candidate materials； and measuring change of expression of at least one from cadherin 11 and N-cadherin. The change of expression of at least one from cadherin 11 and N-cadherin can be clinically measured in vitro and in an easy manner. Therefore, a skin-improving material can be effectively screened.본 발명은 캐드헤린11(Cadherin 11) 및 N-캐드헤린(N-cadherin) 중 하나 이상의 발현 억제 물질을 유효성분으로 포함하는 피부 개선용 조성물 및 이를 포함하는 피부 개선 키트를 제공함으로써 피부 과색소침착증을 개선할 수 있으며, 피부 미백 효과를 제공할 수 있다. 피부 주름생성을 방지 또는 완화할 수 있으므로, 우수한 항노화 효과를 제공한다. 또한, 본 발명은 섬유아세포(fibroblast), 각질형성세포(keratinocyte) 및 멜라닌 생성세포(melanocyte) 중 2종 이상의 공배양물을 포함하는 피부 개선 물질 스크리닝 시스템, 및 상기 피부 개선 물질 스크리닝 시스템의 공배양물에 후보물질을 처리하는 단계, 및 캐드헤린11 및 N-캐드헤린 중 하나 이상의 발현 변화를 측정하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 피부 개선 물질의 스크리닝 방법을 제공함으로써, 생체외(in vitro)에서도 임상적으로 캐드헤린11, N-캐드헤린의 발현 변화를 용이하게 측정하여, 피부 개선 물질을 효과적으로 스크리닝할 수 있다.
