One aspect of the present invention provides a method for manufacturing a microneedle device, and the method includes a step of applying a coating liquid on the microneedles, the coating liquid including a physiologically active substance and a sulfated polysaccharide. The microneedle device manufactured by this method includes a substrate, microneedles arranged on the substrate, and a coating layer formed on the microneedle.
