Method for detection of functional structures in biological sample e.g. living cells, involves detecting combination of near field-microscopy in infrared or terahertz range and spectroscopy processes e.g. Raman microscopy, in sample
The method involves focusing a biological sample and simultaneously or sequentially detecting combination of near field-microscopy in infrared or terahertz range and multiple spectroscopy processes e.g. Raman microscopy, fluorescence spectroscopy and topography processes, in the sample. A nano-needle of a metallic cantilever of atomic force microscope is utilized as a scattering probe for the infrared near field-microscopy. The fixing and measurement in a measuring cell takes place in a liquid sample. An independent claim is also included for a device for implementing a method for detection of functional structures in a biological sample.
