Provided is an embedding thread for medical procedures, and a production method thereof. To this end, the embedding thread comprises: an embedding body； and a plurality of embedding projections projecting laterally toward the outside from the embedding body on a plurality of projection areas formed on the embedding body while gaps of the embedding projections at one side of the projection areas are wider than that of the other side of the projection areas. According to the present invention, insertion becomes easy due to the embedding projections while fixation at desired spot is possible with a single procedure, thereby ensuring easy procedures.
