PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water treatment method and water treatment equipment, capable of obtaining an excellent result of a water flea breeding test based on a test guide line 211 of OECD.SOLUTION: A water treatment method has a constitution in which treatment water supplied from a water-supply system 2 into a chelate treatment tank 11 is allowed to pass successively a primary flocculation treatment tank 12 by a ferrous flocculant 12a and a secondary flocculation treatment tank 13 by a polymer flocculant 13a, and then discharged into a settling tank 20 through a transfer device 3.
