PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a poultry breeding method that can improve growth of the poultry for meat.SOLUTION: A method for breeding poultry F in a poultry house 1 provides a breeding day for switching from an active period for irradiating a breeding area BA with light to activate activities of the poultry to a repose period for irradiating the breeding area BA with the light to suppress the activities of the poultry and/or switching from the repose period to the active period, during one day.
