PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent damage to brains caused by forceps for a clip for clipping a cerebral aneurysm by operating a medical clip.
SOLUTION: The device includes lever members 1a and 1b crossing each other through a pivotal shaft 6 as a support point, which are set for a clip holding part for holding the clip 4 between them, and a handle part for opening/closing operation to the clip grasping part, a pair of holding pieces 10a which are installed in a rotatable way, and an oscillation operation means to rotate the holding pieces as the handle part is operated. The oscillation operation means includes a trigger installed on the handle part, a pair of oscillation levers 18a, a pair of lift levers 26a of which forward ends are connected to the rear ends of the above levers to be projected to/retracted from the fork of the clip holding part, an opening/closing lever 19a of which forward end is connected to the rear end of the lift lever, and a connecting rod 17 to connect the rear end of the opening/closing lever to the trigger. As the trigger is pulled, the connecting rod and the opening/closing levers move to slide back and forth, and the lift lever moves to oscillate around the fork of the clip holding part. The oscillation levers and the holding pieces rotate around a support pin as a support point, and the clip moves to oscillate.
