A shea butter-origin gum composition, which is obtained by purifying an acetone-insoluble fraction of crude shea butter and contains 20-100 mass% of a hydrocarbon polymer contained in said acetone-insoluble fraction a composition for cosmetics which comprises said shea butter-origin gum composition together with an oil having a specific viscosity and cosmetics comprising said composition for cosmetics.
