To provide a guava leaf extract powder which exhibits less deterioration in quality and functions after storage of the solution thereof for a long period of time. The invention provides a method for producing a guava leaf extract powder, including extracting guava leaves with hot water at 90 to 98°C； concentrating the obtained extract to a Brix level of 20 to 30； and lyophilizing the concentrated extract, and a guava leaf extract powder produced through the method.본 발명은 용해 후 장기 보존해도 품질이나 기능성의 저하가 적은 구아바 잎 엑기스 분말에 관한 것이다. 구체적으로 구아바 엽을 90 ~ 98℃의 열수로 추출하고, 얻어진 엑기스를, 브릭스 당도 20 ~ 30의 범위가 될 때까지 농축하고, 이 농축 엑기스를 동결건조함을 특징으로 하는 구아바 잎 엑기스 분말의 제조방법 및 이 방법으로 얻어진 구아바 잎 엑기스 분말에 관한 것이다.
