A negative ion apparatus and a negative ion discharging method are provided. The negative ion apparatus comprises a plurality of negative ion modules and a control unit. The control unit is electrically connected to each of the negative ion modules. Each of the negative ion modules is configured to generate and discharge a plurality of negative ions. The control unit is configured to control the activation of each of the negative ion modules. The control unit can activate each of the negative ion modules individually according to a schedule so that when the negative ion apparatus is in operation, each negative ion module is sequentially provided to have a disable period.
