Disclosed is a DNA construct comprising a gene encoding a fusion protein of a seed protein and a fluorescent protein, wherein the gene is operably linked to a seed-specific promoter. By using the DNA construct, it becomes possible to provide a technique for producing a desired transformant within a relatively short period without the need of any complicated process in the production of a transgenic plant.
